I'm Unemployed. Can I get an IVA?
One of the main reasons that many people experience financial difficulty and find they are struggling with unaffordable debts is due to a loss of income, perhaps from being made redundant or having to take long term sick leave.
An
Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) requires you to have a stable income as it promises your creditors that you are willing to make some form of repayment to your debts. Obviously being unemployed means that an IVA cannot become a debt solution option for you.
Once you are back in employment an IVA could be an option, so please feel free to get in touch. Even if you are unemployed you can call our freephone number to get debt help and we will look to see what other debt solutions could be viable for you.
